Worked in cross-cultural environments on issues of conflict transformation, organisational development, identity and diversity, mediation and social healing. Developed, coordinated and managed peacebuilding programs in South Africa and abroad. Has extensive training, facilitation, and curriculum development experience. She was a key trainer for the Coalition for Peace in Africa and is currently a core trainer for- Non Violent Peace Force on Unarmed Civilian Protection. Recently she worked as a mediator/ facilitator within the transport conflict arena in the Western Cape as well as exploring community social healing modalities focusing on the narratives of young people. Working with the District 6 Museum she has also developed a keen interest on issues of heritage and working with memory. She sits on the local Steering Committee of ACTION for Conflict Transformation

Currently a director, editor, writer and producer of a sports show on SABC 2, ‘Sportsview’. Okepne Ojang is originally from Cameroon. He started in the film industry as a Production assistant in 2005 and worked as an assistant camera operator, assistant sound operator with Plexus Films on corporate jobs. During this period he did a 6month stint with Visual Impact, where he developed his technical skills for film and commercial sets. Between the years of 2006 and 2008 he freelanced on various projects in the South African Film, Television and Commercials industry with companies such as Monkey films, Egg Films, MIA, Ground Glass productions, Navigator and Kalahari Pictures, to name a few. Towards the end of 2008, while working as production manager for Plexus Films on a television reality series, ‘Headwrap’ (www.plexusfilms.co.za), he made his first film, ‘Congo My foot’. After scooping the audience award for best South African short film in the 2008 Tricontinental film festival, it went to grace screens on festivals across the globe, including; Berlinale, New York African Film Festival, Durban International Film Festival, and licensed by Aljazeera broadcast network and South African Broadcasting Corporation. In 2010, through his dedication, commitment and experience, Okepne produced his first music video (Caves), for ‘The Plastics’, a South African pop band (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61RLt-wkwWw). He has acquired a great deal of experience in Feature films, documentaries, commercials and Television over the last 9years.
